Have you seen our newest addition to the Brighton Family? My Flat in London is now in stores. My Flat in London was first established in 2002. Jan Haedrich, the founder and designer, retired in 2007 and moved to Maine. Jerry Kohl, the founder of Brighton approached Jan in 2012 to re-launch the brand and it was a perfect match. In late 2012, Brighton launched My Flat in London ~ an internationally known brand with Jan as the head designer!
A Creed, written by Jan, evokes the My Flat in London woman – Be Pretty, Witty and Wise, Fulfill Dreams, Create Inner Style, Be Happy and Eat Cupcakes! This creed is found on the inside leather patch of each handbag. When asked about the creed, Pretty, Witty, and Wise, Jan replies: “The My Flat in London woman is educated, feminine yet sophisticated. She may live a privileged life or perhaps aspires to and of course, she is coveted beauty. Therefore, the phrase 'Pretty, Witty and Wise' perfectly encapsulates her as well as the philosophy of the brand.”
